The curriculum begins with basic skills like how to build business development routines into your day, how to set achievable goals for your practice, how to differentiate yourself from your competitors, and how to develop productive referral sources. As you progress to more advanced modules, you will learn how to improve your pitching skills, how to cross-sell effectively, and how to develop new business from existing clients.
Practice Boomers was designed with the busy lawyer in mind. Our lessons average only 5 minutes in length and get straight to the point. They conclude with tactical action items you can implement immediately.
Practice Boomers is ideal for lawyers who are open to learning business development and want a sensible, structured approach to their rainmaking efforts.
The initial curriculum consists of 52 videos that are released every 5-7 days. The program lasts 9-12 months.
Our Rainmaker and Expert interview series features top business developers from law firms around the country, including Sheppard Mullin, Greenberg Traurig, Manatt, and O'Melveny, as well as the experts who advise them on branding, networking, and business development.
We provide semi-monthly "Mastermind" coaching calls for accountability and discussion. Lawyers consume the e-learning materials so that they are prepared for these calls. We also let participants know that we are providing regular usage reports to firm management.
We assign a dedicated facilitator from our faculty of business development coaches to each Mastermind. Groups consist of no more than 12 lawyers from the firm. These calls provide a forum for peer-to-peer discussion and accountability.
If you miss a call, you can access a recording via a password-protected section of the website.
We provide detailed reporting on log-ins as well as the specific content each participating lawyer consumed. Additionally, we provide metrics based on the business development activities reported in their Progress Tracker, a summary of their Briefcase, and an attendance report on the Mastermind calls.
Pricing is based on the number of participants in the program. We require a minimum of twelve attorneys for a pilot program. Contact us for a quote.
